22 years’ roofing experience, an NVQ in Tiling, Slating and Flat Roofing, and SSSTS site supervision training, Richie brings practical trade knowledge, site experience and a hands-on approach to every project.From small roof repairs to complete new roofs, flat roofing, leadwork, chimney repairs, fascias, soffits and guttering, the team works with the same attention to detail on every job.
Roofing is not just about replacing tiles or fixing leaks. It is about protecting the property, understanding how the roof is built, identifying the cause of a problem, and recommending the right solution rather than the easiest one.

R W Roofing Services is a family-run business, and that personal approach is an important part of how the company works.
Richie and his team carry out the physical roofing work, while Lucy Walters, Business Operations Manager, helps with the day-to-day running of the business, customer communication and organisation behind the scenes.
Lucy has many years of experience in operational roles and customer service, helping to make sure enquiries, appointments and project updates are handled clearly and professionally.
For customers, that means dealing with a roofing company that is approachable, organised and accountable from the first phone call through to the final clean-up.
Led by Richie Walters
Richie started his roofing career after leaving school, working as an apprentice within a family-run roofing business. That early experience gave him a strong grounding in traditional roofing skills, practical problem solving and the importance of learning the trade properly on site.
Over the years, Richie has worked across a wide range of roofing projects, from everyday domestic roof repairs through to larger and more technically demanding work.
His background includes apprenticeship training, roof installation, flat roofing, waterproofing, site supervision, traditional roofing and specialist work on listed buildings.
Traditional and listed buildings are an area Richie particularly enjoys. These projects often require more care, patience and judgement, because the work has to respect the character of the building while still providing proper weather protection.
Richie’s priority has always been simple: provide honest advice, complete the work properly, and leave the customer confident that their roof has been looked after by people who care about the result.
